This year has been a doozy! We really hope that the Lord allows our 2020 SafeHouse VBS to be a much needed break and breath of fresh air. Right off the bat, know this: we are going to go above and beyond on making sure we are staying safe, clean and responsible. We always take it seriously when kids are entrusted to our care for these events, but this year, we are taking it up a notch and doing all we can to put this event on in a fun and safe manner.
This year, our first night of VBS falls on the anniversary of 9/11. In an age-appropriate manner, we will teach the kids the important roles our First Responders played during that dark time. We believe God has allowed us a very unique opportunity this year to bolster our relationship and our kids' future relationships with our community heroes and servants.
Our two-night VBS leads us directly into Sunday, Sept. 13, which happens to be our annual Family Tailgate Sunday! All families are invited to attend this awesome day of fellowship and worship as we grill out and celebrate all God has done!
Dates and Times
Friday, September 11 at 6:30pm

It would really help us if you would go ahead and pre-register your child by clicking HERE! If you are unable to pre-register, no problem! You can register your child in person each day 30 minutes before we start. Admission is FREE.
Every child that registers and attends VBS will be entered to win an Adventurers Kit worth up to $100 AND a brand new Nintendo Switch!
Each child that pre-registers and attends will not only be entered into the drawing for the prizes mentioned above, but will also be entered to win a $25 giftcard! Register today!
We are still working out final details about the meals that will be served each day. We can tell you that these meals will be indiviudal wrapped/packaged by pre-screened volunteers wearing masks and gloves. There will be no "buffet-style" meals served.
This year, our curriculum will be solely focused on "faith". this correlates perfectly with our church's theme for 2020: By Faith. It is essential our kids learn to live by faith; what better time to teach them that than in 2020, right?!
Friday night, Saturday morning and even Sunday morning (Tailgate Sunday), we will have competitive boy vs. girl offerings. All money given in these offerings will go directly to the First Responders Ministry here at Crossroads that reaches out to our local departments to serve those who serve us!
