Hello Church Family!
It is a blessing and privilege to be a part of such an amazing church! While there is a lot of excitement about our regathering, we also have been given a responsibility that must be taken seriously. No matter what any of us personally think about the COVID-19 situation, the leadership here at Crossroads has a responsibility to take seriously the health and well being of all our church family by taking some necessary precautions.
During Phase 1, there will be no nurseries. Children are required to sit with their families. Additionally, there will be no children or teen ministries of any kind meeting inside, and there will be no Bible Study Groups meeting in person.
Over time, the goal is to gradually do away with some of these precautions, as soon as it is deemed feasible; your patience and consideration of each other is greatly appreciated. It is a great sign of a mature and unified congregation, and we thank you for that! Here are our recommended guidelines that we plan to follow over the next several weeks as we go through Crossroads’ Phase 1:
Regathering Date: May 31
Sunday at 9:00AM: Worship Service for Families A - H
This service will be for the families with a last name starting with the letters A - H.

We will have no in-person kids programs for the time being. We will continue to LIVE stream the kids program like we have been doing.
Sunday at 10:30AM: Worship Service for Families I - Z
This service will be for the families with a last name starting with the letters I - Z.
Sunday at 6:00PM: Worship Service
We will have no in-person Sunday night services for the time being. We will continue to LIVE stream services like we have been doing.
Wednesday at 6:30PM: Prayer & Bible Study
We will have no in-person Wednesday night services for the time being. We will continue to LIVE stream services like we have been doing.
Upon pulling into the lot, you will be met with friendly attendants who will help you park. Due to social distancing, we are asking that you leave one space in between you and the next closest car beside you. Please maintain social distancing and avoid congregating in groups outside of the family you came with. The Main Entrance is the ONLY entrance we will be using to enter the building.
We ask that everyone enter the building no earlier than 15 minutes prior to the beginning of each service. Please remain in your car until the doors open and enter through the main entrance. We ask that you proceed directly to your seat. There will be ushers standing by to help you find a seat. Dismissal will take place row by row, from the back of the auditorium to the front, initiated by our leaders. To ensure social distancing, we will exit to the parking lot through one of the side exit doors near the church nurseries. The floor will be marked and volunteers will be directing the flow of traffic.
Next to the main entrance, you will find a tent providing masks, gloves and hand sanitizer. Please feel free to wear a mask and gloves inside the building. While this is not a requirement, it is a recommendation. Please do not feel obligated to come during Phase 1 if you have a compromised immune system, are over the age of 60, have a respiratory illness/disease, an unspoken illness or have small children. If you are sick, have been sick or have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 14 days, please stay home due to the risk of infecting others. We will continue to livestream all of our services.
Our seating capacity is set at 135 for the Main Auditorium and 50 in overflow in our upstairs auditorium. If the upstairs auditorium is used, it will be cleaned with the same requirements as the main auditorium. Each pew will be marked off to ensure social distancing. Families are asked to sit together and will maintain 6 feet of separation from the nearest person. Please keep your children with you, and do not allow them to roam around the building without your supervision. We also will not have a fellowship time or take an offering during the service. Offering boxes will be available as you enter and exit. We will have limited seating in the comfort room near the nurseries should you have a need to remove yourself/child from the service. The livestream of the service will be available in this room as well.
As you enter the building, we are trying to create a “touchless” atmosphere. Please avoid touching doors, handles, pews, and other people. All doors will be opened for you as you enter and exit the building. Our building will be cleaned and sanitized before EVERY service. This includes between the first and second service on Sunday morning. The safety of you and your family has been and will remain our top priority. We have a team of cleaners that will clean and sanitize the pews, door handles, restrooms, and any surface that may have been touched before the start of the next service.
We will have limited access to bathrooms during this time. Because of this, we are asking people to only use the available restrooms in the event of an emergency. Please take this into account before you arrive. The bathrooms will be closed at the end of each service to allow ample time to clean for the next service. Water fountains will also be unavailable and much of the building will be closed. Please adhere to proper signage.
Legal Disclaimer: COVID-19 is highly contagious and is known to spread mainly from person-to- person contact. By attending Crossroads, you agree to abide by the procedures established by the church to protect attendees and staff, and you voluntarily assume the risk that you and/or your family may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 either at the church, in the church worship service, or in the nursery or Sunday School. You agree to assume all the risks of attendance and participation for you and your family, and you waive any liability against the church and any other parties.
We are taking every precaution that we can, while respecting the guidelines and recommendations given to us by the state, to help those who choose to come feel safe and comfortable. Even if you don’t feel that some of these changes are necessary or apply to you, please be prayerful, respectful, and patient with us as we continue to be mindful of the health and safety of those who will attend our services. We also would ask that you be respectful of anyone who may take extra precautions during this time.
We are so excited to begin the process of regathering and ask that you continue to pray for our church and community in the coming days. If at any time you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the church office. We love you all and look forward to seeing you on Sunday, May 31st, or when you feel comfortable to return!
